Book Club: Emergent Strategy

November 15, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 9:30 am on Monday, repeating until December 13, 2021

Opening up a space where we can chat about shaping change in the field of teaching artistry so that each of us can do our best work.  Let’s bounce around the ideas found in adrienne maree brown’s Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds.

Join us for one, two or all three sessions; come having read the whole book, part of the book, or just the title.

  • November 15:  Read 1-66
  • November 29:  Read 67-182
  • December 13: Read 191-265

And if you CAN’T make it, we understand – don’t hesitate in joining us on our book club forum.

We can do this – together!

Thanks for completing your profile!

One of the challenges of our profession is that there is very little data about who we are, what we do and where we are working. Without a documentable presence, it’s difficult to advocate for funding and policies that benefit our work. Your profile will both help promote your work individually and it will help us aggregate data for our region. As you fill in the blanks below, you will have a choice as to who is allowed to see some of the information. Please note that the “Just Me” option does allow TAMA administration to see what you’ve entered. For example, when you enter your phone number, you can prevent that from appearing in your profile if you like, but TAMA administration can see it.
