NGCAE: Town Hall DC Arts Education

October 25 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Amidst the historic and political landmarks of DC, let’s gather to spotlight a cornerstone of our community: arts and humanities education. Facilitated by the National Guild for Community Arts Education, in collaboration with DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative, this event beckons artists, art enthusiasts, educators, practitioners, and citizens alike. Participate in the brilliance of DC’s local community and collaborate in lively discussions. As we unravel the significance, challenges, and aspirations of arts and humanities education in our nation’s capital, join us in championing the arts as a catalyst for change, unity, and inspiration.

Our objective is a multifaceted one:

  • Deepen connections through networking and shared learning
  • Celebrate the return of our upcoming 2024 Conference for Community Arts Education
  • Welcome arts and humanities leaders and organizations to learn more about the Guild and the Collaborative
  • Gain insights into your needs and how the Guild and the Collaborative can support

Thanks for completing your profile!

As professionals, we face the challenge of limited data about who we are, what we do and where we work, which makes it hard to advocate for and secure funding and policies that benefit us. But worry not! Your profile can help promote your work and provide data for our region. When filling out your profile, you can control who sees the content in every field. Visibility options include: everyone, only me, all members, and my friends. Just a heads up, the “Only Me” option includes TAMA administration so we can collect the data for the field.
