Growing your business is linked to boosting the field.  The TA Cafe is where members come together to learn new business skills and become TA Leaders and Advocates!  Drop-in when you can, and join us for these ongoing discussions.

  1. Who are we:  Come share who you are and what your upcoming plans and goals are.  The field of teaching artistry is still young.  We define it together!
  2. Deep dive into the TAMA’s Website:  How might we use our site to build our careers and expand our collective profession?  Participate in Cafe for insights and tutorials!
  3. Business Skills for Artists:  Check out this resource and join us to move through our TA-centered business series.  Let’s build sustainable careers together!
  4. Advocacy:  It wouldn’t be the TA Cafe if we didn’t talk ADVOCACY!  We will slowly move through Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds by adrienne maree brown.  The title itself is a conversation!

The zoom link for this session is in the TA Cafe Forum!

Together we are stronger, braver, wiser!

Know of an event we should include?

Thanks for completing your profile!

One of the challenges of our profession is that there is very little data about who we are, what we do and where we are working. Without a documentable presence, it’s difficult to advocate for funding and policies that benefit our work. Your profile will both help promote your work individually and it will help us aggregate data for our region. As you fill in the blanks below, you will have a choice as to who is allowed to see some of the information. Please note that the “Just Me” option does allow TAMA administration to see what you’ve entered. For example, when you enter your phone number, you can prevent that from appearing in your profile if you like, but TAMA administration can see it.
